LIVING IN KOREA
Naver (네이버)
Naver is the Korean version of Google, including email, maps etc. Naver dictionary is especially good for Korean learners.
KakaoTalk (카카오톡)
The most used chatting app in Korea. Kakao also has many other services and apps including, Kakao maps, Kakao subway, Kakao taxi etc.
Coupang (쿠팡)
The Korean version of Amazon, where you can basically order anything. For a quite low subscription fee, you get access to overnight shipping(including weekends) and access to Coupang play.
배달의민족
The most widely used food delivery app. There are a few others as well, such as 요기요, 쿠팡 이츠 etc.
Carrot (당근)
Marketplace for selling used/second hand items.
Ya (야놀자)
Hotel and resort booking app. Airbnb also works great in Korea.
티머니GO
Intercity and express bus booking app.
Toss (토스)
Internet banking app. One of the few that works for foreigners, Kakao Bank does not work for example.
